On certain machines, PartyCAD crashes when you try to use the Furniture Gallery. I believe this is caused by a problem with a system file that was erroneously patched by Microsoft and then later fixed. Some of the bad versions evidently escaped into the wild and cause problems for PartyCAD if they are present.

In PartyCAD version 12.2.452, released on 2/14/2017, I added a alternate 2017 Furniture Gallery that avoids using the quirky file. To use the new version, start PartyCAD and from the Start Menu click Options > Advanced Options > Use 2017 Gallery

Another way to attack the issue that seems to work is to stop PartyCAD, uninstall PartyCAD using the Control Panel, reboot your system, and install PartyCAD by clicking Try at www.PartyCAD.net This causes a fresh copy of the quirky file to be installed and registered on your system.
