Finding art and textures

Where can I find art and textures suitable for use with PartyCAD?

PartyCAD allows textures such as wood, marble or granite to be applied to floor plans and furniture. Here are links to such textures on the web. Watch the Help Videos to see how to apply textures.

1. Find the Art - Watch out for copyright problems
Click Textures or use a search engine and look for free textures. Click Fine Art or use a search engine and look for virtual art museum, or for an artist by name.

2. Download It - Right-click on the image you want to capture, click Save Picture As.. and a Save Picture menu will appear. Point this to save the picture into PartyCAD’s Art folder. On most machines, the PartyCAD art folder is at C:\PartyCAD\Data\Art. Name the file as you like, but don‘t change the file type, then click Save That’s it, the art can now be seen and used from within PartyCAD.

Note: Make sure that the image being saved is a JPG, PNG or BMP file as these are the only types that PartyCAD can work with. JPG files are very common on the web. If you do end up with a different type like a GIF for instance, PartyCAD will not see it. Your only option in such a case is to load the picture into a good paint program, such as PaintShop Pro, and then resave it as a JPG, PNG or BMP file.
