Component not correctly registered

Question

When I attempt to run PartyCAD 12, all I get is an error message that says:

Component 'XceedZip.DLL' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid.

How can I fix this problem?

Answer

PartyCAD relies on components created by other software developers for some of its functionality. These components end with the letters .DLL or .OCX. Occasionally when you install or uninstall software that uses these same components, the PartyCAD version may become damaged or unlinked in the system registry. If this happens, you will start getting an error similar to the one you mention anytime you run PartyCAD.

The solution is simple. Just reinstall PartyCAD 12.
